Before you begin posting to our forums, please read the following Forum User Rules.

The Bethesda Softworks Forums are provided for you to share tips with your fellow Bethesda users, discuss your favorite titles, talk about upcoming releases, and generally get the most enjoyment out of our products. We do read and post to the Forums and are there to help you out with any questions you may have. There are some situations, such as technical difficulties with a product, where you'll need to get in touch directly with a Tech Support representative. If so, visit our tech support databases; if you can't find the answer to your questions, there is a form which you can fill out that goes directly to Tech Support.

Bethesda retains editorial control over the boards. This means we will be answering or commenting on any messages posted in our boards. This also means that we have the authority to remove posts from our message boards, and to determine whether a topic or message is appropriate to the board on which it has been posted. Basically, what we're trying to say is: Be respectful and polite and don't use profanity.

Please do not post copy protection codes from game manuals to this board. We take a firm stand against software piracy, and will prosecute anyone distributing pirated games. If you have a purchased copy of a game, but are missing the manual, please contact Customer Service and ask for a replacement.

If you have a complaint about another board user, one of our moderators, or anyone else, email it to press@bethsoft.com. Do not post accusations to the public boards, this is a private matter between you and the other party. We will investigate the situation promptly.

The only HTML code you can use is to provide a link to a web page (and BOLD and ITALICS). All other HTML code is disabled during the posting process. Please refrain from the use of vulgar language, harassment of other users, racial or ethnic slurs, sexism, or slander. Please do not publicly re-post private email without the express written permission of the email's original sender. Please do not post email addresses, standard addresses, or phone numbers which are not your own.

If you don't like these rules, please don't post. If you break these rules, we reserve the right to revoke your posting privileges on all Bethesda Softworks Forums. If you are having technical problems with the message boards, please contact webmaster@bethsoft.com.

No "slam" postings to our boards. By slam postings, we mean ones which make statements such as, "This product is horrible. No one should buy it." Almost any product has areas which can be improved, but simply stating that a title is terrible is not constructive in any way, and won't help us build better products. Those postings will be removed from our site, as will any posting which refers to your fellow board users, our developers, or even our competitors in a derogatory manner. (If you disagree with something which a board user has said or done, you are more than welcome to state that you disagree, but nobody likes being called "stupid" or an "idiot" because they don't hold the same opinions as someone else. Please respect this.)
